With experience in the title industry dating back to 2012 and as a member of the Aristocrat Title team since 2018, Chastity brings years of knowledge, patience, and attention to detail to every title search.

How Chastity Found Her Career in the Title Industry

Chastity's career in the title industry began in 2012 when she came across a job posting at a title company.

Without previous experience in the field, she received on-the-job training and quickly developed the skills needed to research property records and understand the title examination process.

Before entering the title industry, Chastity worked for a customs broker and as a preschool computer teacher.

Although those positions were quite different from her current responsibilities, her career eventually led her to work that combines research, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

In 2018, Chastity joined Aristocrat Title, where she continues to play an important role in supporting real estate transactions throughout Southern Indiana.

Today, her experience contributes to the detailed work that helps prepare transactions for closing.

Why Title Searches Matter in Real Estate Transactions

When buying or selling property, most people focus on the purchase agreement, financing, inspections, and closing day.

However, one of the most important steps happens behind the scenes: the title search.

As a Title Abstractor at Aristocrat Title's Jeffersonville office, Chastity researches public records to help establish a property's ownership history and identify potential title concerns.

Southern Indiana Has Been Home for Decades

Although Chastity was born in Alabama, she moved to Indiana with her family and has called Sellersburg home since 1993.

After more than three decades in Southern Indiana, she has developed deep roots in the community.

Her career in the title industry may have started unexpectedly, but it has become an opportunity to combine her love of research with work that supports people throughout the region.

And while much of her day involves looking backward through property records, the purpose of that research is forward-looking: helping buyers and sellers prepare for their next chapter.

Beyond the Title Search: Getting to Know Chastity

Outside of work, Chastity enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Nova.

Whether she's cooking, watching a favorite movie or television show, or enjoying the outdoors, she appreciates the simple things that make life enjoyable.

Hiking is one of her favorite weekend activities, and she loves playing fetch and frisbee with Nova.

When it comes to dining out, Drake's and Rooster's are among her favorites.

And when it's time for a vacation, Chastity knows exactly where she'd like to go: the beaches of Mexico.

A few more fun facts about Chastity:

• Beach or mountains? Beach, without hesitation.

• Favorite season? Spring.

• Coffee or tea? Tea, although she occasionally enjoys coffee.

• Early bird or night owl? Definitely a night owl.

• Favorite television show? Seinfeld.

• Something surprising? She loves vacuuming!

That last one might be unexpected, but it gives us another glimpse into the personality behind the detailed title research.

Whether she's exploring the outdoors with Nova, enjoying time with family, or planning another beach getaway, Chastity brings the same appreciation for life's details to her time outside the office.
